Save the Date!!!

Our local NABA, Greater Miami - South Florida Chapter will be holding our next FREE Certified Professional Education (CPE) session on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 9:00 AM.  This session is open to the public and will offer participants an opportunity to earn FREE CPE credits.  These credits are essential to individuals wishing to maintain a professional certification, such as a CPA, CIA, CISA, CFP and many more!  Even if you do not need to maintain a professional designation you can also attend to help further you knowledge on a topic of interest.

 

Our guest speaker will be facilitating an interactive discussion on the current issues and trends affecting the homeowners and property insurance market within Florida.  Included in the discussion will be updates on new legislation and any pending legislation currently being discussed in the Florida legislature.

Help Wanted: VITA Volunteers


It is that time of year when we extend ourselves to give back to our communities by volunteering for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (“VITA”). This is an opportunity to help low income tax individuals with the preparation of their annual federal tax returns. There are several sites available in Dade and Broward counties with various times and dates for volunteers who wish to render assistance.
